A tall and athletic model Catherine Bell was born in London, England, but she moved to Los Angeles with her mother as a kid. Although she had intended to pursue a degree in pre-medicine at college, Bell dropped out in order to pursue the career of a model in Japan. Following a stint in commercials after which she returned to Los Angeles in order to guest star on TV and to do some smaller film roles.
