Teresa Palmer

Teresa Palmer, an American model and actress from Australian origin, is a popular Australian. She is best known for her performance in the movie '2:37' for which she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute Award for the best lead actress. She had a difficult childhood due to her parent's divorce and was brought up partly by her mother and partly from her father. She began her career in acting, assuming acting as an extra for various Australian film productions after dropping out of university in order to support herself financially. After moving to the United States, she became established in Hollywood following rejection and failing at the box-office. Her performances received mixed feedback because of which she was forced to struggle to survive in the competitive world of entertainment. Alongside Australian actors Tahyna Tozzi and Nathalie Kelley, she established Avakea Productions and began training in martial arts to be able to get roles in adventure film. She was a brand ambassador for the Sydney jewellery designer Jan Logan's "Modern Darling Collection'. Mark Webber is her husband and co-director. They have two children along with him.
