Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. She finished second both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. The winner in both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie was brought up with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from at an early age, Annie participated in numerous school competitions and was awarded numerous medals. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as as of 2021). The first time she competed, she performed very well and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. But she did not win any title she ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. As a result of her outstanding performances, she was able to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. She also won a gold medal. In 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rise in recognition as a professional athlete has led her to become the model for a variety of sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb.
