Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. In her early years, she was always a lover of exercise and sports. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as as of 2021). She is 5'7" and she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She was able to perform very well in the initial matches. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. She was not able to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. In her second year, she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. In 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal. Annie is presently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has seen her become the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube Channel where training videos as well as travel and family videos are posted.
