Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. Later, in 1956, she made her big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The album was released by her too late for Tina the same year. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the movie. When she was a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
