Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in an artistic environment. Her first job was as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world after only three releases. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw got married to three different people.
